SSC CGL Recruitment 2016: Staff Selection Commissions has issued a recruitment notification in order to recruit candidates to different category posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. Subject to administrative / public exigencies, final selection through the Combined Graduate Level Examination to specific categories. SSC has invited applications from eligible candidates who wish to get recruited to the department. Eligible candidates may fill in the application form on or before the last date i.e. first week of June, 2016.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian organisation to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should owe the degree of Graduation in any discipline or its equivalent qualification from any recognized university.
Age Limit: Candidate’s maximum age limit must be between 18 to 27 years.
Application Fees: Candidate are required to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee while the other category candidates: women, physically handicapped, SC/ST are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Candidates who fulfill all the requisites they can fill the application form. Candidates may fill application form through online application mode. Application in the prescribed format are available on www.ssconline.nic.in on or before the last date as prescribed.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written examination. Qualifying candidates will further be called for the interview on the basis of which their final selection will be made.
