WBJEE 2016 Cut Off Marks: WBJEE 2016 Cutoff is applied by the WBJEE Board to provide the seats to the best candidates among the total applicants for the available seats. This restricts the number of candidates per seat and limits the admission considerable candidate. WBJEE 2016 Cutoff Marks are generally applied on the score or rank as achieved in the entrance exam.
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2016 (WBJEE), was conducted on first week of month May, 2016. Exam was conducted at more than 180 examination centers and an approx of 8.6 lakh students appeared for the entrance exam. This is conducted every year for the students who wish to take admissions to the under-graduate course in different Govt/ Private Colleges and Universities in West Bengal. WBJEE 2016 was conducted for admission in First Year Program to BE/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm / MBBS /BDS.
As mentioned in the prospectus of WBJEE 2016 Result will be declared in the month of June. The Tentative date for results is 10th June, 2016. After the result will be announced, the board will also release the merit list for all the candidates who have qualified the examination. WBJEE 2016 Cutoff Marks will be released after 2-3 days of the result, on the basis of the cutoff marks the candidates will be provided admissions to the University. WBJEE 2016 Cutoff are the minimum marks required for admission into courses in various Universities and Colleges/Institutes. Those candidates who score more than or equal to cut off marks will be shortlisted.
On the basis of the cutoff marks, a merit list will be prepared which will include the names of the candidates on the basis of their ranks in ascending order. WBJEE 2016 Cutoff Marks depends on Seats Available, the level of the examination, and the previous year admission trends. The authorities will soon update the cutoff marks as the result is announced.
About WBJEE: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WB-JEE is a state-government controlled centralised test for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation (also known as Bachelors) courses. The exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in plus two level with the specific subjects tested in the examination, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. There are actually two separate tests for medical colleges and engineering colleges, the difference being that the medical test has the Biology paper while the engineering test has the Mathematics paper.
